Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb store-bought pizza dough
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley, plus more for garnish
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper if using an oven.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, unroll the pizza dough and cut it into approximately 1-inch pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley, and salt. Add the dough pieces and toss gently until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the coated dough pieces in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet or in the air fryer basket, ensuring not to overcrowd. Cook in batches if necessary.
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or air fry for 8-12 minutes, or until the bread bites are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven or air fryer. Immediately transfer the hot bread bites back to the large bowl. Add 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese and toss until the cheese is melted and evenly distributed.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with additional grated Parmesan cheese and dried parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve with a side of warm marinara sauce or a simple garlic butter dip.

Ensure the dough pieces are evenly sized for consistent cooking.

Do not overcrowd the baking sheet or air fryer basket to allow for even browning.

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days and reheated in an oven or air fryer.
